It is important to note that the chart above is the minimum requirements to graduate and that there are certain requirements within each subject category.
For example:
* English: Must include 9th Lit and American Lit
* Math: Must include Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra II
* Science: Must include Biology, Physics or Physical Science, and Chemistry or Environmental Science or Earth Systems
* Social Studies: Must include World History, U.S. History, Government (minimum of 1/2 credit) and Economics (minimum of 1/2 credit)
At Alexander, it will normally require a minimum of 24 credits to graduate because we teach Government and Economics as full credit courses. However, most students graduate with well more than 23 credits. It is much more likely for a student to have earned closer to 32 credits prior to their graduation from Alexander.
