Legacy of Pearls Foundation Scholarships
Applications for Legacy of Pearls Foundation Scholarships are now open for Douglas County students. There are several scholarships available, including one that is specifically for seniors attending high school in Douglas County. The deadline to apply is March 1.

Astronomical Event Illustration (Art) Contest
Due to the overwhelming interest and to accommodate more entries, the submission deadline has been extended to February 26, 2024.
- This contest is open to youth in Douglas County.
- There are three age categories: Grades 3-5, Grades 6-8, and Grades 9-12
- Only art of astronomical events, celestial body events such as eclipses, novae or planetary collisions will be accepted for the contest.
- Students can enter the contest by completing the online form, accessible via the link below, and uploading a sketch or concept of their art. We welcome drawings, paintings, or computer-aided illustrations.
