In Mock Trial, a group of students acting as lawyers and witnesses compete against teams from other schools to see who can best present their case.

We are given a criminal or civil case scenario, with witness statements, evidence, photos, maps, and more, and we must create a defense team and a prosecution/plaintiff team. We have 4 months to prepare before competing against other teams. Our team is required to create a case to best represent each side of the trial. Lawyers will write direct examinations, cross examinations, opening statements, and closing statements. Witnesses must prepare to be examined on the stand, both from our own team and our opponents. 

We compete inside real courthouses in front of real judges and attorneys. We have real trial lawyers as coaches on our team help us best prepare for competition.
