DECA
DECA helps prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for college and careers. It is an important part of the marketing curriculum; therefore, all marketing students are strongly encouraged to join DECA. DECA is co-curricular, meaning that all students will be expected to participate in DECA activities during class; therefore, it is extremely beneficial for them to join.
Membership allows students to participate in DECA activities that will allow them an opportunity to learn more about career opportunities in business and marketing, gain important leadership skills, network with fellow students and business professionals, and provide opportunities for jobs and scholarships.
These activities include field trips, DECA competitions, DECA meetings and socials. DECA membership is $30.00* and students receive a membership t-shirt, membership at the state and international level, and all rights and privileges.
