Captain Remoshay Nelson, a proud member of Douglas County High School Class of 2007 and a proud Howard University graduate, is making waves as the FIRST Black woman to join the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds! ✈️
This incredible pilot is not only showcasing her talent with the elite demonstration team, but also inspiring young girls everywhere to reach for the skies.
Let's give Captain Nelson a round of applause for shattering barriers and representing excellence in the Air Force! #DCSSProud

Congratulations to Dorsett Shoals Elementary School, which has been selected as this year's GLMA Exemplary Library Media Program for Elementary! This honor is a testament to the hard work of media specialist Tracy Scaglione and media clerk Barbara Camacho, both of whom bring a love of books and reading to the students at DSES. #DCSSProud
