Alexander High School offers career and technical education programs. These programs are designed to prepare youth for a broad range of employment and further education. The following is a list of programs being offered at Alexander High School:

The Criteria for admission into CTAE course is determined by the space available for all students that sign up for an Introductory level course and the amount of space in a student's schedule. All upper level courses must have the correct pre-requisite course completed.

The Career, Technical and Agricultural Education courses "are responsible for career and leadership development of" high school students. "The CTAE department works with the nine Career, Technical Student Organizations to enrich the curriculum in the CTAE Pathways."

All career and technical education programs follow the district's policies. The district policy is Board Policy JAA and that policy reads "Federal law prohibits discrimination on the basis of age, race, color or national origin (Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964); sex (Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972 and the Perkins Act of 1998); or disability (Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990) in educational programs or activities receiving federal financial assistance.
